LOVELAND, COLO. – September 2, 2021 – Centerra invites the community to prepare for the Wild Wonderful Weekend which will take place in late September, featuring the high-energy rock band American authors. The weekend celebration of Colorado’s first certified wild community – the planned community of Centerra in Loveland – kicks off Friday, September 24 with an interactive outdoor foam party for kids at the Centerra Marketplace. The fun continues on Saturday, September 25 with morning wilderness walks at Chapungu Sculpture Park and the High Plains Environmental Center Visitor Campus, followed by a ‘wild’ afternoon of outdoor activations and live music in the main shopping plaza of the Promenade in Centerra. A pre-concert party will begin at 5 p.m. when local food trucks arrive in the parking lot. Chapungu will open its tickets for paying participants at 6 p.m. and headlining American authors will take the stage at 8 p.m. to perform their chart-topping musical hits. Tickets are required and registration will begin Thursday, September 2 at 5:00 p.m. via Eventbrite.

Friday September 24:
Fierce Moss Festival
An outdoor interactive bubble bath, less water. A DJ will play the tunes as participants dance amid the eco-friendly moss scattered above. The Foam Party will take place at the Centerra Marketplace parking lot located at 1450 Fall River Drive, on the west side of I-25 and the freeway. 34. Saturday September 25:
Walks in the wilderness
The High Plains Environmental Center will host educational tours of the botanical garden, native wild bird ringings, bird walks and scavenger hunts for children throughout the day outside the center. reception of HPEC and the Chapungu Sculpture Park. The main plaza of The Promenade Shops in Centerra will host live music and free ‘wild’ engagements from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., featuring makeup, caricature and balloon artists, as well as learning opportunities and hands-on education from local experts. Registration is not compulsory and the activities will be open to the public.
Townsquare Media’s pre-show night featuring on-air talent, live radio remote control and freebies near the main Promenade shopping plaza in Centerra will begin at 5pm. Local restaurants and food trucks will offer a variety of dining options. Registration is not compulsory for the pre-party and is open to the public.
Sauvage Marvelous Concert
Chapungu Sculpture Park’s large lawn will welcome ticket holders into the park from 6 p.m. Local artist So which brothers will perform on stage at 7 p.m. followed by the popular rock band American authors should occur shortly after 8 p.m. The concert is a paid and free event for customers who register online.
